The hardest part of this card is not what you think! Learn from my mistakes…

Here’s where I went wrong. Learn from me!

1st try – I embossed a wood grain pattern and layered colors with Distress Oxide. Then added opaque texture paste for the tree opening for the snow. Fail – the snow turned yellow.

Fix – once the snow was dry, I painted it with acrylic paint. Still yellow – fail

Fix 2 – added another layer of texture paste once paint was dried – yellow came through – fail

Threw it away 😳😂

Success: pulled a piece of wood scrapbook paper, ran it through with a wood grain embossing folder and added the white opaque texture paste then sprinkled with glitter. Perfect!
