Card Layout Process

,

I thought I’d share the process I use when creating a card layout using this adorable digital stamp from Mo’s Digital Pencil.

I’m a sketcher, so I use a digital notebook I created to sketch ideas and categorize them according to my image type. While this can be done on a computer, I use an iPad for this notebook/sketches. For this card I thought the circle cutout was perfect for a sky background. There are clouds stenciled, it’s hard to tell in the photos.

I decided to use a background stamp on the panel.

After copic coloring and fussy cutting the image, I used foam squares to pop up the puppy on the panel that was also popped up with fun foam.

If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below. Would love to see your creations! You can post on my facebook page so we can celebrate or if you’re on instagram use #mypaperhugs to tag!  Hugs all around – Kathy

  1. You are way more organised than I am, but then my use of the computer is not like yours at all – it’s pretty basic!

Love the resultant card Kathy – that is gorgeous

      1. Thank you Kathy…. I am fine. Just a very busy time with a Women’s Retreat last weekend, then no internet for 48 hours.

When I am this busy, something has to ‘give’, and I determined years ago, it wasn’t going to be me!

        Thanks again for checking in

        Blessings
