The best part of this card is nothing has to be perfect. It’s from a dog…..I found this sentiment online and wrote it as imperfect as possible. I drew the Paws and bone and stamped the paw-prints on the blended background. Under 5 minutes for the front of the card!
For the gifts, I edited a photo and added our pups name. I used Procreate to do this, but any photo editing software would do.
First I created the Certification card. Again, I added the Dog Dad and my son’s name in the editing program and printed it a little smaller than a credit card. It was mounted on a piece of heavy cardboard and run through the laminating machine. I trimmed it to the size of a credit card and rounded the corners. Now he has a picture in his wallet.
I created the Hanger element by printing the photo and mounting it on a double layer of thick cardstock. I used eyelets and twine for the hanger. To “attach” it to the card I used temporary glue dots. You know, that stuff that you have to pull off of packaging. I added it to the top and behind the photo. Easily removable.
I did write a note from me on the left hand side. This was a lot of fun and an unexpected surprise for him.
