Baby Hugs

Ahhh Babies. A gift from heaven. I marvel at the very idea that God formed us all as individuals and we are all fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:13-14). I love coloring and painting this wonderful stamp from Whimsy Stamps. Brings me joy to send to a dear friend.

This was copic colored. If you ever struggle with color combos, find a picture of something you like. For me, this was a photo of a hot-air balloon and I used the colors to create this design.

Creation

This is a layered 6×6 card. Don’t let layers or multimedia scare you. It’s your opportunity cut/color a bunch of things you like and start playing!

💕Hint-As you play with placement, if something strikes you, snap a quick pic with your phone.

I first stamped and colored the Wee ones stamp from Whimsy stamps. You might be able to find the stamp from a search, but if not, Whimsy stamps has it on digital downloads. (Use code MYPAPERHUGS for 10% off) The sentiment is from Honeybee stamps.

Once you have a layout, carefully fold a piece of Press n Seal from your kitchen over the pieces, press them down and pick up.. Now you can start gluing, layering and popping up elements for your creation! If you’re a perfectionist like me, let it go for this project. You’ll be surprised at what you can create! 1. Such a sweet image Kathy – and so beautifully coloured. The die cut image panel is gorgeous, as are the layers behind the image
