Don’t you love making cards? I had so much fun making this one. First, this is an A7 card. I printed the image on 80 pound card stock and cut a scalloped edge frame from my stash. I used copic markers to color the image although it’s fun to use watercolor as well.

For the background panel, I used a plaid stencil, matching the colors used in the illustration then ran that through my die cutting machine with an embossing folder for texture. That was then mounted to a light blue card base with liquid adhesive. Before mounting the illustrated panel, I stamped the greeting directly to the panel with a separate black strip greeting heat embossed with white embossing powder. The front panel and the black strip were both popped up with foam tape and as always, a little bit of Wink of Stella was used here and there for the finished card! What do you think?
