Fall is almost here (in the US)! Crisp mornings, beautiful colors. An artist’s delight and one more thing to be thankful for!
This card combines many of my favorite techniques. Copic colored Cute fox, stenciling with offset stamping both from Rabbit Hole Designs and a lacy overlay from Papertrey Ink.
Creation
It’s rare that I buy a stamp bundle, but I knew I’d get a lot of use out of these products from Rabbit Hole Designs. And I have!
Starting with an A2 Panel , I stamped and Copic colored the little fox. After ink blending the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink and gold heat embossed the sentiment, I used Papertrey Ink’s Lacy die to cut this panel out. On a separate piece of card stock , I stenciled the fall leaves from the set, then came back with the leaves stamp and offset stamped with gray ink. Then I spattered this panel with white, gold and brown. At this point, I cut down the panel to fit behind the focal panel.
Separately, I stencil some additional fall leaves, added some spatter and cut them out with the falling leaves dies.
I finished off by mounting the stencil panel to an A2 card base, then popped up the focal panel with foam tape. The leaves were arranged and glued flat on the panel and a few gold glitter dots with Pops of Color were added for bling. I love how this turned out and hope it inspires you.
